Tamar Fuhrmann
Tamar is Senior Research Associate and educational researcher at the Columbia University Teacher’s College where she leads studies and research projects at the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab and the global FabLearn Program.
Her work’s focus is on examining ways to integrate STEM and constructionist activities into the school curriculum. She is working on several international research projects, co-leading international training workshops, developing STEM curricular units, and hoping to implement a constructionist mindset into school settings.
She received her Ph.D. in Technology and Science education from the Technion as a fellow researcher at TELS ( Technology Enhanced Learning in Science ) project at UC Berkeley. She received her post-doc from Stanford working at the graduate school of education as a senior educational researcher. Her prior background includes a BSc in Biology and an M.Sc in Biochemistry.
